Love Delivers Consistent Top-Five Run at Kansas, Maintains Points Position

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (April 19, 2026) — Jesse Love continued his consistent 2026 campaign with a strong fourth-place finish in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series race at Kansas Speedway.

Driving the No. 2 Whelen Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing, Love rolled off ninth and quickly worked his way into contention. By the end of Stage One, he had advanced to fourth, showing solid pace early in the race.

Love maintained that momentum through Stage Two, once again finishing fourth and keeping himself firmly inside the top five as the race unfolded.

In the final stage, the young driver continued to execute, avoiding trouble and maximizing track position to bring home another fourth-place finish — a result that reinforces his consistency and ability to capitalize on strong points days.

With the performance, Love remains third in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series standings, continuing to keep pressure on the championship battle through the early part of the season.

“It was a solid day for our Whelen Chevrolet,” said Love. “We didn’t quite have what we needed to go contend for the win there at the end, but the team gave me a really good car. We were able to stay up front all day, execute, and come away with a good points finish.

“These are the kind of races that matter when you’re thinking about the bigger picture. Proud of the effort, and we’ll keep building on it.”

Love will return to action on April 25th at Talladega Superspeedway, a track that has historically suited his aggressive style and one he has identified as a favorite on the schedule.
